Ethereum (ETH) in the SmartSignals engine

Ethereum is one of the twenty cryptocurrencies the SmartSignals engine scans continuously. It is a tier-0 blue chip — the deepest liquidity in the universe, so the engine holds it to the tightest stops and the strictest trend filter. Signals on ETH fire on 3H bar closes and are evaluated at risk index 1, which sets every threshold below.

Right now the AI news layer reads ETH as BULLISH, with a raw sentiment score of 0.28 at 60% confidence. That reading comes from 2 headlines matched to Ethereum and scored in the current cycle, and the bias has held for 1 consecutive cycle. ETH last traded at $2,506.74, +3.98% over 24 hours.

Ethereum ETNs become regulated and available to UK retail investors on mainstream platforms.

The thresholds the engine applies to ETH

Every asset gets its own numbers rather than a single global setting. For Ethereum the engine treats RSI above 68 as overbought and below 28 as oversold; it requires ADX above 23 before it will call a trend directional; it places the stop-loss at 1.8× ATR from entry; and it refuses an entry whose fill has slipped more than 5% against the signal price. Take-profit levels sit on the 1.618 and 2.618 Fibonacci extensions of the move, with a 9-hour cooldown before the same asset can be re-entered.

Headlines the AI layer read for ETH

  • Ethereum(ETH) Surpasses 2,500 USDT with a 4.83% Increase in 24 Hours
  • 16,554 ETH Bought by Abraxas Capital Amidst $291M Short
  • Standard Chartered Makes a Very Important Move Regarding Bitcoin and Ethereum! They Pointed to This Altcoin for the $7 Trillion Sector!
  • Over $140M in Shorts Wrecked in an Hour as BTC, ETH, XRP Suddenly Explode
  • Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS) Reports Total Holdings of Approximately $380 Million, Includes OpenAI, Beast Industries, More Than 16,000 ETH and Nearly 302 Million WLD Tokens

How to read this cockpit

This page is the live output of the SmartSignals trading engine — the same pipeline that produces the Buy and Sell alerts in the app, shown without an account and without a paywall. It refreshes continuously. At the moment 11 of the 20 assets read bullish, 6 neutral and 3 bearish.

Signal Engine

The animated panel is a map of the pipeline, not decoration. Two per-asset feeds enter on the left — market prices and the AI news layer — and each reaches every one of the twenty tracked assets. Each ticker carries its symbol and is ringed in the model's current read on it, which is why the column is marked AI BIAS: green for bullish, red for bearish, grey for neutral. Bias, not trend — trend is a separate thing measured two columns over by ADX. Read across, the column tells you the state of the whole universe at a glance. The other two inputs are not per-asset and do not stand in that column: the macro overlay is one global composite and funding is read only at the crowding check, so each sits beside the gate that consumes it.

Each input is tagged with what it actually is, because only one of the four is a model. Market prices are real live conditions, the macro overlay is a weighted blend of exchange netflows, options skew and stablecoin supply, and funding is the eight-hour rate off the exchange — all measured. The news layer is the AI: a language model reads the wire, scores each headline against an asset, and that is the reading which tints the tickers and relaxes the trend threshold at ADX. The violet tag marks it, and marks nothing else.

From there every reading enters quantitative analysis through one door and meets the checks every entry has to clear, whichever way it eventually goes: ATR for the volatility floor and ceiling, ADX for trend strength, then RSI. The AI news layer is marked against ADX because that is where it acts — a strong enough reading lowers the trend threshold an entry has to clear, and it sizes the position. It is an input to a filter, not a veto standing after one: when the news disagrees with a signal the alert carries a caution and the trade still fires.

Below that the column splits into the three routes the engine actually has, and a reading takes one of them rather than all of them. Tier 0 is the quiet route — it wants price on the right side of VWAP and a market that is not chopping, and never looks at MACD at all. Tier A and Tier B both require a MACD crossover first and then diverge: Tier A wants a candlestick pattern behind it, Tier B wants on-balance volume confirming the move. The three rejoin at the verdict.

The routes end at a verdict, and two things can happen there. A reading the evaluators cannot make a case for takes the exit below and goes no further. The rest hand across to a candidate entry at the foot of the last column — what the analysis actually produces is a candidate, not an order — and from there the column climbs through the two blocks that stand between the two: the macro gate, which shuts on a high-impact calendar event inside twelve hours or on a VIX and Fear-and-Greed panic together, and the funding gate, which refuses entries that would join already-crowded positioning. Only what clears both reaches the signal at the top.

Those refusals are the point rather than an omission, and around nine in ten of the readings evaluated end at one of them — most at the verdict, before a candidate is ever proposed. Conviction decides what survives the analysis; the live regime and funding decide what survives the gates. A pulse about to be dropped reddens over its last leg, so you can tell it apart from the one crossing behind it.

Macro Overlay

A single composite score between −1 and +1 describing the structural backdrop, built from three inputs: exchange netflows (weighted 40%, the most timely), options skew (35%, the most forward-looking) and stablecoin supply (25%, the slowest to turn). The panel shows each input's score, its weight and the signed amount it actually contributed, alongside the raw readings underneath — Bitcoin's 24-hour move, DVOL implied volatility, USDT supply growth and Bitcoin dominance. A tier-1 macro release inside twelve hours closes the entry gate entirely — the calendar block is the one macro input that stops a trade outright rather than shifting a threshold.

Engine State

The regime router is the most consequential value in the system: it flips directional bias, the RSI bands, the ADX floor and the trailing-stop distance all at once. Beside it sits the entry gate, then the AI bias distribution across the twenty assets, then whatever positions the engine currently holds.

Asset Matrix, Signal Flow and News Stream

The matrix carries one tile per asset with its price, 24-hour move, seven-day sparkline and AI sentiment score — click any tile for that asset's full screen. Signal Flow lists the most recent Buy and Sell signals the engine has fired, each with the plain-language reason behind it. The News Stream is the raw headline feed the AI layer reads, interleaved across assets so no single ticker dominates.

What the numbers mean

AI sentiment score
A value from −1 to +1 produced by a language model reading the crypto news wire and scoring each headline against a specific asset. Positive is bullish. It is an input to the trading decision, never the whole decision.
Smoothed score and stable bias
The raw score is exponentially smoothed across cycles, and a bias flip only propagates after two full cycles confirm it. This is what stops one loud headline flipping the engine's stance. Below a confidence floor — or with no headlines, or no model call that cycle — the layer reports neutral rather than guessing. Only the stable bias reaches the trading loop.
Macro composite
The weighted blend of exchange netflows, options skew and stablecoin supply described above. It shifts conviction rather than triggering trades on its own.
Funding rate
What holders of perpetual futures pay each other every eight hours. A strongly positive rate means longs are crowded, which the engine treats as a contrarian caution rather than a confirmation.
Regime
The engine's classification of the broad market, from daily closes against the 20- and 50-period moving averages. Five states, not three: bull, bear, choppy, and a transition out of each of the first two, which is what stops a single day's break from flipping the whole configuration. It changes rarely and reconfigures every entry filter when it does.
ATR, ADX, VWAP, RSI, MACD and candle patterns
Volatility, trend strength, volume-weighted average price, momentum, momentum crossover and price structure — the six filters an entry has to clear. ATR in particular sets every stop-loss and take-profit level, which is why targets are never a fixed percentage: they scale with how much the asset is actually moving. ADX is the one the news layer can relax.

Questions about the cockpit

Is this real live data?

Yes. Prices come from CoinGecko and refresh every ninety seconds; the AI sentiment layer republishes every few hours; signals arrive from the trading engine the moment they fire. Nothing on this page is a mock-up or a replay. The status chips along the top bar show how fresh each feed is, and turn amber when one goes stale.

Do I need an account to use it?

No. The cockpit is completely public and sets no cookies of its own. The account is only for the mobile app, where signals are pushed to your phone as they fire.

Are these signals financial advice?

No. Everything here is generated by an automated algorithm and an AI news layer, for informational and educational purposes only. Past performance, including backtested performance, does not guarantee future results, and trading cryptocurrencies carries a substantial risk of loss.

Why does the AI sometimes disagree with the algorithm?

Because that is the design, and the disagreement is visible rather than decisive. The algorithm decides what is technically valid; the AI layer decides how much conviction to put behind it. A supportive reading lowers the trend threshold an entry has to clear and sizes the position up; a reading that contradicts the trade leaves it standing with a caution attached. The AI never opens a trade on a headline alone, and it does not cancel one either.

How often does the page update?

The cockpit polls every twenty seconds. Prices move on that cadence, the AI sentiment layer refreshes on its own slower cycle, and a new trading signal appears within seconds of the engine firing it.
